Cascina MonteRosa
Our converted Cascina is an old wine farm from the early 1900s. A typical wine farm that you still see many of in Piemonte. They are often built in an L-shape, the hayloft has a typical used brick see-through and there are one or more stables. Rooms often still have authentic Piedmontese ceilings.
Below this Cascina is the cantina where in the past the grapes were pressed in the traditional way and stored in concrete wine barrels. And where the bottles of wine were aged.
The name MonteRosa comes from the Monterosa massif, part of the Alps, which the house overlooks. The Alpine range with mountains such as the Monviso, Monte Bianco and Monterosa give a beautiful picture in clear weather. In addition, the house is surrounded by many different rose bushes that have been there since time immemorial.
Cascina MonteRosa is surrounded by its own vineyard, hazelnut trees and hills and has beautiful views.
In the recent years we have thoroughly renovated the house. We have converted the stable and garage into two luxury apartments for a wonderful holiday stay.
The swimming pool is currently being built in part of the vineyard and will be ready in May. There, in addition to the various terraces at the apartments, you can enjoy beautiful views and, above all, tranquility in this wonderful environment.
